The Fight to Save Nashville’s Music Row

Tree Vibez Music, an organization founded by Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of multi-platinum selling duo Florida Georgia Line has teamed up with the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Music Industry Coalition to preserve Nashville’s Music Row.

Music Row is an important piece of music history in the United States, having served as a launchpad for many different genres and artists over the years. Over the past few years, development in Nashville has been fierce – with 35 demolitions taking place on Music Row alone.

The announcement of Tree Vibez Music adds some clout to the efforts to preserve Music Row. You can read more about the partnership by visiting the announcement on the National Trust’s website.

The efforts to save Music Row offer valuable lessons for community developers. You can read about some of these lessons by visiting my post here: Fighting to Save Local Treasures.
